(20 March 1927, Cape Town, South Africa)
   He composed anthems and canticles for the Anglican service, and his {}O Lorde, the Maker of Al Thing (1952) won the Novello Anthem Competition. His large-scale works include a cantata, The Martyrdom {}of St. Alban (1969), and an oratorio, The Raising of Lazarus (1971). (at)
